It is 24 / 7 reliable electricity.
No carbon emissions.
The cost is slightly higher than coal.

Yes, the 'Atomic Energy Commission' needs to be anal
about using splitting atoms safely and 'We' need to
keep nukes out of the hands of A-rabs and half witted
despots.

But if you want a whole lot of watts in a relatively
small package a nuclear power plant does well at delivering.

The sailors on the Ronald Reagan, which was 50 miles from Fukushima are dying. The fish are radioactive in the Pacific and some aren't reproducing at all. Looks like Europe's having a secret Chernobyl. No place to put the waste. Output is nuclear bombs. Who needs it?
