I just want you to know De,
That you and I are in complete agreement on this one.

I would hope that many conservative types actually
think the same way . . . But we have to re-open the
country for business while we still have an economy.

The alternative? If all the food production facilities
and food transport mechanisms are shut down we will see
starvation. Which is worse? What coronavirus can do?
Or what it will do to a half starved population?

There is an agenda behind the different approaches liberals and conservatives have with regard to the virus. I truly believe that many liberals are seeking to keep the fear level high, while many conservatives are on the other extreme, treating an extremely serious disease as if it's nothing. The leaders of both approaches are, in a sense, "scammers." The liberal approach will destroy people's lives unnecessarily. The conservative approach will take people's lives, also unnecessarily.
