I am sorry to hear this. It is very difficult to have a pet that is just like your best friend and know it is dying. Have been through that twice now... You will get over it after a bit though.... The best thing you can do is not the animal suffer endlessly, and when that time comes you will know.. It will be hard and emotionally draining. But you have to do it for the animal's sake.
Tough tough thing to do.. Been there twice already.
Have postponed a new "child" in our house for almost two years now because of that sickening feeling. Will wait until after next year sometime. Too much work to do outside yet...
Nobody lives forever and our beloved four footed friends especially. Sorry to hear.......
She was walking funny and almost fell over when walking took her to the vet and she had a TIA[transient ischemic attack,,, aka mini stroke] Now I know what is going on. she has been yelping in her sleep , I had no idea. My girl has a bad heart. Got her on meds to ease the flow of blood out of her heart. This is our life now. I will be with her till the end.............. Than I AM DONE, no more lil friends that don't outlast me LOL....... I love her........
