I understand De. While I do not like many of the vulgar words spewing from the keyboard strokes, if there is some semblance of civility then I have no problem agreeing with your objective.
That is why I tried hard to engage ZZ in a calm, collected dialogue and look at things that ZZ was proud of and I also have some historical interest in that pertain to ancient Greece.

I believe in an old saying that my first boss I had told me. He said that REASONABLE people can disagree reasonably.

I never forgot it. Zim would likely have more patience than me to run this board as the final word. I have low tolerance for gutteral retorts continually.

Hopefully you CAN get some internet service there but being remote, I don't know if you would get it any way other than satellite or phone line, ADSL, or VDSL2 which can be very fast. Phone company usually has this....

30 bucks a month is cheap..... Hope you can get it.

In 3 short weeks, I'll be moving away. My wife thinks we'll have internet again since she found a company that she believes will provide it for $30/mo, but I'm not so sure. In rural areas, things often don't go as planned, and right now the house up there doesn't even have a phone line, much less cable wiring or a spare conduit from the street. If the street itself hasn't already been trenched for cable, then this is a non-starter.

What I *am* sure of is that even if this pans out, it will be a while before I'm here again regularly. Every few days, I may get on briefly from a local store or library, but that's the most one should expect. Therefore, if you or someone else wants to run a "Mental Health Restoration Clinic" forum to fill the gap once I'm gone, I think that would be great. If it's going to be effective, though, I recommend it keep this forum's policy of NO BANNING (except if someone intentionally tries to disrupt the board.)

IMO, the only way to speak openly to or about the FARTERS is if they have a right to reply. As we've seen here, they do not often avail themselves of that right. But it's there, and they can respond if they ever have something to say. (Don't hold your breath on that. You've seen some of my single-sentence "daily summaries" of original activity on PFFFFart3.)
