That is so true. At the NATO PA meeting, a guy from Italy said, we're going to have to rely on the US. Well, yeah, they have no military to speak of in Europe. And they have that bad attitude that they will rely on US. It's too big a job. Socialism is a quagmire. Especially since in the hands of government, welfare, health care and such are highly abused -- corruption abounds.
This issue of the US defending Europe as we are required to do as a member of NATO, btw, is precisely why Europe should dump their push for a basket of currencies. Yes, the dollar favors the US, but it's used for mutual defense.
And while I'm on that, how does one defend against the jihadist enemy within? I had a discussion with Col Kemp (different meeting), mentioning the Geneva Convention says refugees must be returned to their country of origin when it's safe to do so and he said, but that will never happen. Stupid is as stupid does. And Germany re-elected Merkel, the head perp. Just as bad as re-electing de Blasio, who's responsible for the terror attacks on NYC. People are so freakin' stupid. Well, at least the brainwashed demlibs.
