...we had a yorky who ya could hear walking around on the hardwood floors. Her little toenails made the lightest click clack as she traveled from room to room checking on us to see what we were up to. I had retired and the wife was still working so it was pretty much me and pudding hanging around the house all day. There was a bad thunderstorm locally and the wife called from work to ask if we were involved in the storm. "Oh yes," I told her "We have Thunder, Lightning, Wind, Rain and Barking just your regular weather related phenomena."

...had a striped blanket I would put in my lap for the dog to sit on while we watched tv and snoozed. If I put the blanket on my lap with the stripes running crossways the little bugger would stand there at my feet barking and raising sand until I turned it with the stripes running parallel to my legs. Then she would cloimb up into my lap and lay down.

...sometimes when I am alone and the house is quiet, I can hear her little toenails on the hardwood clicking and clacking looking for me.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

I am sorry to hear this Nemo!

I know how hard that is. Your dog is your best friend and when I had to put mine down a week before Christmas I was devastated. I miss her so much still and look for her when I come home as she always knew when I pulled in the driveway!

Am sorry for your loss my friend!
