This just demonstrates to me that I have a hard time believing that oil cost as much as some claims before that it was in the mid-twenties or higher a barrel to get it from the U.S.

WHY so high? There are pumps doing the work after the oilhead is installed and one has a known pool to pump out of.

This whole ting has been nothing but about MONEY and more money and getting it from a captive market, US poor dumb and blind citizens.

Glad to see it exposed.. What a scam.

And yet we allow the rich people of the world to "speculate" or guess, on the price of oil on open markets and that sets the prices that we, the COMMONERS wind up paying at the pumps..

Cost has nothing to do with PRICES.

It only cost them $5-$10 a barrel to get the oil out of the ground. I guess the cast of refining and shipment justify the price a barrel is selling for $43 right now....... Crude Oil 43.48 -1.18 -2.64% Couldn't be OPEC, could it?
