But, prior to the invasion I would have assumed that Russia would have overrun Ukraine in a few weeks. That did not happen.
A little over five months and Russia has still not managed to overrun Ukraine.
Why? Well, for one Ukraine started preparing for this war back in 2014. Ukraine also has a thing called 'Starlink' working for it.

According to other sources, Russia's 'battlefield communications' left a lot to be desired. Starlink gave Ukraine secure and reliable communications all over the country. Those Javeline anti-tank missiles and some Turkish Bayraktar drones proved devastating to Russian battle groups. And now Ukraine is receiving HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. Smart missiles. Between google earth and satellite intel from friendly countries Ukraine can find Russian ammunition depots - and one missile can destroy the whole dump.
Word has it that the Russians in Ukraine don't want to fight. And that Russia is having a hard time getting conscripts (or volunteers) because they do not want to go to Ukraine and get killed.
I'm pretty sure the Ukraine invasion has cost Russia a LOT more than they expected. I don't know if Russia actually has the industrial capacity to achieve victory . . . And even if they do, will it be worth the cost?
True, biden and company are the most incompetent buffoons ever to be 'running' this country. But Ukraine has a lot of other countries sending weapons and munitions to them.
