...nah, they are sitting back waiting to ambush the gun confiscators who will not be the local cops cause they support the gun rights folks. Military? Gee ain't that illegal? Perhaps the politicians themselves will put on their body armor and go door to door doingf it themselves.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Every year on January 20th, the Virginia Citizens Defense League has a large lobbying rally in Richmond, where people take the opportunity to discuss their concerns over gun rights and upcoming legislation with their elected representatives.

I have attended this rally in the past, and had the opportunity to talk with my delegates. While I'm pretty sure my concerns fell on deaf ears (both were staunchly anti-gun), I like to think I at least made people think about the issues.

Unfortunately, scheduling will not allow me to attend this year. I plan instead to write to my representatives instead and let them know how I feel about the governmental reaction to the rally.

First, the Virginia Demorats surreptitiously pass a policy disallowing firearms carry by law-abiding citizens in the Capital buildings. The policy will be in place for the 2020 Regular session - January through early March 2020. Just in time for the annual rally.

Second, Northan decides he has 'credible evidence' of 'armed militia groups plan to storm the Capitol.' Not satisfied with barring legal carry within the buildings, the carry ban has been expanded to cover the entirety of Capital grounds, at least Friday, January 17th through Tuesday, January 21st. Guess those who were legally carrying and choosing to remain outside in order to comply with the building carry ban will not be allowed to wait outside, either.
