Re: "Okay,. I am done. We all just care about ya and want you to be part of our little world for as long as possible.."
That's VERY kind of you. But I feel completely NORMAL... so all the concern is kind of embarrassing! Honestly, if a number of doctors hadn't told me that I've got a serious problem, I wouldn't know. One even said that the reason to operate NOW is because the valve is starting to show symptoms. It almost makes me think that maybe I should have kept my yap shut! And what if the chest pain is being caused by acid reflux or something else? Nobody has even looked down my throat! Wow, would that ever make those eggheads feel dumb.

So it all seems absurd. It's like going to the doctor for a blister and having him tell you you've got two years to live. "Uh, WHAT?????? Yer sh***ing me, right???" That's what's going on in my head.

I want to go out and turn the mountain of compost, or mow the lawn, or apply more gravel to the driveway. I'm just thinking it might be a bit foolish...

The recommendation to start populating a spreadsheet with things my wife and son might need is a good one. It won't be all that hard, really, since most of the info is already collected on my laptop. I've given my wife the laptop password, and the passwords needed to decrypt key files on the laptop. With what she has, she can get passwords to my e-mail accounts, my investment accounts and to cloud storage. Much of this she's already got. She does our taxes, after all. (Lucky me.) So I just need to make sure she has ALL of it.

I'm embarrassed to say that I've never done a will. Now it's time to do one. I should probably set up a trust, but I don't think there's enough time for that. Surgery is presumably less than a month away.

I need to complete and turn in a building permit for the house. The application asks questions I don't fully understand or have the answers to, so I need to go talk to my builder and gets his help. Next week I need to haul boxes to the barn. I've finally gotten the 'okay' from my builder. He's sheetrocking this week, so the floor space will FINALLY be mine to use. De-cluttering our living quarters is important. With what's coming, I don't know if I'll be on crutches, in a wheel chair... or....

There's a lot to think about.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Good to see you up and about this morning!

I am getting ready to leave for the day on business up north in Columbus. That company is fairly large and so far it has taken 2 full years to get to this point with them where they are just starting to finally pay off. Still have a way to go to complete phase 1 and phase 2 is in the works. Hope to get that stuff underway after meetings today there. Tests need to be done that take 3,000 hours, passed, and certified professionally to meet the requirements of the State of Florida and the Architect's specifications.

Need to sharpen the point on the end of my shoe to get the VP of this company to simply have his maintenance guys flush a tank and clean it, drain it, refill with water. Then get one 55 gallon drum of a conversion coating chemical pretreatment from the number 1 performing conversion pretreatment in the world. 99 percent of all other companies worldwide use this product because it always is successful. The Gold standard if you would. And it costs no more than inferior products...

So what is the holdup? Resistance to change from making prior bad decisions and not wanting to look bad.... EGO.

So I tell the GM today to check the ego at the door and lets move forward and get this accomplished.

This opens up whole new markets for them to grow and expand... But mainly, I simply want this to be done right. I do not play games or mince too many words when it comes to performance. Hoping I can get this moving over lunch today...

In the meantime, have you started taking a baby aspirin a day? How you feeling?

Sit down at yer computer, make an excell spreadsheet or use WORD and make a TABLE and put in those spaces all the information of things you need your wife to have easy to read and access to those things, while you are sidelined and even when you are not..... YOU do not know what day or time God will appoint as your last day on earth and she will be left to sort through all the day to day things, just like my wife....

She needs contact information for policies of life insurance, investments, accounts, names and phone numbers and who to call.

Make it as easy for her to transition without you being there so she has less to fret and worry about.....

I have done this for my wife so when I am gone she has all the info right at her fingertips and can move forward. I want her life to be stress free and easy on her with plenty of money to take care of her....

Anyway, you need to get this done BEFORE surgery big guy so you have things to do that you can actualy accomplish without exertion..... DO NOT exert your impaired heart valve... Be smart and do not push it. No heroes needed there. Your wife wants you to be around so be smart for her sake. So does your son...

Okay,. I am done. We all just care about ya and want you to be part of our little world for as long as possible..

I am off to Columbus.....

Take care of yourself sir!
