...socialist countries cannot do anything to help their people. They have to keep them feeling like "victims" forever. If they ever quit feeling like that, they will no longer be socialists. The myth that "you are poor and it's somebody else's fault or greed" must be perpetrated through eternity, thus your standard of living must be kept as near the bottom as possible.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
