NO WAY! Lemme see, and who freed the slaves? And his party affiliation was? I could never separate his death from the Emancipation Proclamation.

The 14th Amendment, as interpreted today by Democrats and the uninformed says that anyone born in the USA is an American citizen…WRONG!

Indeed. I want to take issue regarding the educational system, however. You can choose to disagree, of course, but every teacher in America gets a copy of the Constitution and its Amendments, and the knowledge of it should be absorbed by every American. The situation in the school systems has deteriorated so greatly that you're fortunate if you can get them to learn basic math, basic history, so let's not fantasize about kids (born to kids, themselves) being educated by the schools or being prompted to learn AT HOME about this subject matter. In other words, is it THEIR fault? To me, it does not matter whose fault it is, but the problem exists and it has to be resolved.
MSM - AGREED, but questioning the talking head attorneys whom we see 24/7 and who should know what the Constitution says, should properly share their knowledge.
HOLLYWEIRD? oh my! Their main cause of concern at this moment, and so many moments prior, is to sell their latest movie, AND criticize the current Administration. They don't know shid about much!
DEMOCRAT PARTY - the party of pain, without regard for the welfare of the country's people/s. Their quest to be inclusive to all, is exactly the opposite. They are an embarrassment to our once great nation, imo.
So, basically, how the 14th Amendment reads is: "On July 28, 1868, the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified. The amendment grants citizenship to "all persons born or naturalized in the United States" which included former slaves who had just been freed after the Civil War."
Now a situation exists wherein we have a caravan of illegal immigrants on their way to our country, carrying the flag of their birth country while burning ours. Everyone seems to think they are automatically endowed with the same privileges as we are. Yep, tell a lie often enough and it becomes truth.

In campaign mode, the president floated the idea of issuing an executive order that would purport to deny “birthright citizenship,” i.e., to end the policy of granting American citizenship to children born in the United States to alien parents who are not legally present here. I highlight “purport” and “policy” because the president’s opponents counter that these newborn children of illegal aliens are granted citizenship by the Constitution, specifically, by the 14th Amendment. Therefore, the argument goes, this grant of citizenship is not a mere policy but a command of the highest law of the land; it may not be reversed by an executive order, or even by a law of Congress, the branch empowered to set the terms of citizenship.

REALLY? Obama said it was against the law to allow foreigners on our soil, but HE DID IT ANYWAY. All of a sudden, he had a pen and phone - horse's a$$,imo.

President Trump’s executive order will simply order those in the government to adhere to the Constitution to which they took an oath. This president is bringing us back to the rule of law and is being fought tooth and nail by the Deep State, the Democrats and the filth that is the ever-present swamp. We will once again be a nation of laws, not persons.
Election Day tomorrow. I have missed one local election in the many (whoops, I meant few) years that I was eligible. I would have gone anyway, but I was contagious.
