Thanks Beldin!
If I get rid of this spine problem, including the bulging discs which are also pressing on the nerve besides the cyst that is really pressing it, and of course stay on mrs. micro's diet she has me on,
I believe I could do the course again.

I was a natural athlete in my youth and would have played college football if I did not choose to go serve my country. I was a five sport athlete and 2nd team all state in football and honorable mention in City for baseball and basketball. I held the High School record for 50 yard dash for over 15 years. 5.0 seconds from standing start.
Not bad for an offensive lineman eh? That is why had the ability to run down most backs when I played defense on occasion. I was faster than them.

I was 5 foot ten and about 225 back then with 5 % body fat. I bench pressed over 350 pounds and had a 34 inch waist and 44 inch chest. Ripped.

Things have changed over the years. lol!!!! When I am at around 200 pounds I am fairly thin with no protruding stomach. I am very large boned skeletal structure which is where the weight comes from. I still am very strong in my arms and legs.
That is why when I hit golf balls my normal distances are those of the pros in the iron shots. I do not hit a driver as far as they do regularly, but have hit many a 280 yard drive and a few over 300. I am extremely coordinated and have excellent foot, hand, eye coordination.

This is why I believe I could go through the obstacle course if, and big if, I could lose the weight and fully recover from the spine surgery.

That said, you have a valid point. Ribs is older than me. By several years. And we is kinda finding out what the effects of older age can do to anyone.

I may have an easier time of it than my brother Marine, because he has had some really hard surgery with that shoulder and hip. Mine is all in my low back/spine.

Wile I am a Proud marine, I also am not stupid nor a glutten for punishment so I might re-consider attempting to do that. Iffen I was maybe 20 years younger it would be better.

Ribs knows the course. It ain't for those who are not in shape or good physical bodies.

So maybe some younger pups wouldn't mind helping a couple of older jar heads.

Does doing that mean I have to get a Marine haircut again? lol!!! My hair is already pretty thin and receding....

Oh my.....
