In our country today, if a person announces that he's a freak, it's regarded as a wondrous accomplishment. Our society is seriously messed up.

That's 'cuz the inmates are more and more, with each passing day, running the asylum.

re: "micro, for some reason, in today's
way of thinking, queers are looked
up to. "

When a friend of my son's posted on FB, "Hey guess what, everybody. I'm gay!" - he was deluged with congratulations.

I was stunned - not that he was gay, but at the response. What if he'd just written, "Hey guess what, everybody. I'm going to have a lonely existence riddled with health problems, depression, and a pervasive sense of never fitting in!" Think he'd still be congratulated?

Would my son be congratulated if he suddenly posted, "Hey guess what, everybody. I'm straight!" I think people would look at him like he's on drugs... which is what they SHOULD have done with my son's friend.

In our country today, if a person announces that he's a freak, it's regarded as a wondrous accomplishment. Our society is seriously messed up.
