...da president of the united states is the president of the states, not the president of the largest population. Ya can run the country with a minority of the voters on your side, but ya can't run it with a minority of the states on your side.

...while I am at it, Hillary did not get a "Majority" of the votes. She got a Plurality. There is a difference.

Excellent article, Nemo. The map below was part of it. As the article observes and the map shows, 50 percent of the population lives in just 146 counties, while the other 50 percent live in the remaining 3,000. The first fifty percent are extraordinarily vulnerable.

The map is also a pretty good representation of counties that voted for Hillary Clinton.
