Build tiny houses in people's backyards and rent them out to families with children now living on the street

If they could afford rent they wouldn't be living on the street. And, insurance for a rental property is different than that for a single family home.

Multnomah County offers incentives for homeowners to house homeless in backyards

With more than $300,000 and volunteer homeowners, Multnomah County has a new idea to fight homelessness: Build tiny houses in people's backyards and rent them out to families with children now living on the street

...it only cost 38 million for the govt to cleana up after the pipeline protests. What could go wrong with this plan?
