...another reason drugs are so expensive here is the never ending lawsuits when a drug injures or kills somebody. It can cure a million folks and give one persona a rash the lawyers will take em to the cleaners for it.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

3. US government regulations are so overbearing that they drive costs up astronomically.

I seem to remember reading somewhere (and I don't
remember where, nor can I find it again . . .) That
the reason why some drugs are 'overpriced' in America
is that somebody in the regulatory department decided
that they were going to increase the quality of drugs
by 'sole sourcing' them. As in somehow, as if by magic,
'they' could make drugs so much better if only there
was just the one supplier.

But, we greedy capitalist type pigs know that if there
is only the one supplier . . . the price will go up
till folks either scream loudly enough, or folks go
find something else. (Or do without.)

And we of the conservative type know that 'screaming loudly'
enough leads to the sort of socialist stupidity that
eventually collapses under the weight of its own red tape.
