This sounds like Leftist logic. Until there's proof or at least evidence of why the whales died, conclusions like this fall into the realm of religion not science. The whales may have died from a bacterial infection, or from ingested plastic, or from a lightning strike, or from about a thousand other things. Without more information, it's impossible to know.
It's like claiming to know the specific reason why polar bears went extinct or NYC is now underwater. Sometimes we just don't know.
