...the problem is that we have compromised with the left (or have been compromised by spineless politicians) so much and so often that there is no further room for compromise without compromising principles.

That's because OBAMA was playing SANTA CLAUS to the majority of his worshipers and we all know, it's difficult to not like Santa, especially Black Santa..

Just my thoughts.

Secondly, I agree with your original sentiment about
LACK of DISCUSSION and not hearing opposing viewpoints.

Of course, many of the viewpoints on the left are either straight from Saul Alinsky or Karl Marx or whatever HIllary or BArry told most of these snowflakes, it is impossible to have any kind of intelligent discussion when there is no sign of intelligence from the person you are trying to understand...

It is a problem indeed......
