I have this sick feeling that they may have won.

When the Soviets collapsed even the NYT ran a Heilbroner piece noting that the left had been wrong all along, the opposition always in the right. Didn't occur to me then, but few had familiarity with what he meant by the opposition. Truer today. After a brief pause the house organs of a ruling class that detests the idea of a free people resumed their drumbeat.

It's a smaller minority now with ANY understanding about what liberalism once meant.

Yeah, Wiggs ... most of the school districts across the country have lost interest in making any attempt at actually teaching their students ... they would rather indoctrinate them into perpetual victimhood. Pathetic.
