On recommendation from a dear friend, Nelson Hultberg provides clear insight, definition, and exposition of what the 'Deep State' consists of, and the clear and present dangers this entity presents to the preservation of the ONLY REPUBLIC in the entire World.

(mtnote: best definition of Deep State, by far, that I have ever read.)
What is the Deep State? It is the vast array of bureaucracies and unseen private interests that lies behind the more visible institutions of our government (the President, Congress and Supreme Court). It is the "military-industrial complex" that Dwight Eisenhower warned us about as he left office in January 1961, combined with bureaucracies such as the CIA, the NSA, the FBI, and Homeland Security. The Federal Reserve and its "primary dealers" (e.g., Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, etc.) intertwined with international institutions such as the IMF and the World Bank are part of the complex also.
...
Trump's Four Pillars of Reform are what threaten the Deep State so powerfully. They are: 1) radical immigration reform, 2) rational trade policy reform, 3) serious tax and regulation reduction, and 4) restoration of a "mind-our-own-business" foreign policy.
....
There are three major ideological divisions today that we can use to explain the battle going on between the Deep State elites and the American people. They are:
1) Globalism vs. Nationalism
2) Collectivism vs. Individualism
3) Statism vs. Capitalism.

There are only two 'additions' I would make to Nelson's expose:
1. The word 'capitalism' is erroneously used. What should be used is 'free market capitalism'. The Deep State is extremely 'capitalistic' - but in the most negative way. They are corporo-fascist** capitalists - those that have THE UNG_DLY MONEY can and do co-opt government to destroy free marktet capitalism which poses such a threat to them.
**corporo-fascism == economic fascism == corporatism
2. The NYT and WaPo are not 'useful idiots' - they are un-indicted co-conspirators.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good ...
