Hmmm... Where does the memo say that 'intelligence officials are kicked out ?
Reading the actual memo- I find this: (in stark contrast to the HFMSM, ie. hysterical Faux mms)
The Director of National Intelligence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as statutory advisers to the NSC, shall also attend NSC meetings. The Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff, the Assistant to the President and Chief Strategist, the Counsel to the President, the Deputy Counsel to the President for National Security Affairs, and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget are invited as attendees to any NSC meeting.

Now - the PRINCIPLES COMMITTEE is distinctly separate from the NSC - and it says this:
The PC shall have as its regular attendees the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Defense, the Attorney General, the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff, the Assistant to the President and Chief Strategist, the National Security Advisor, and the Homeland Security Advisor. The Director of National Intelligence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff shall attend where issues pertaining to their responsibilities and expertise are to be discussed. The Counsel to the President, the Deputy Counsel to the President for National Security Affairs, and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget may attend all PC meetings.
Seems that the news media is once again liea, hypea and twists crap beyond any semblance to sanity.
I THINK IT IS A DAMN GOOD IDEA TO HAVE BANNON ATTEND THESE MEETINGS - ALL OF THEM. And THAT is what is REALLY PISSING these people off - having a 'conservative news media' type involved in ANYTHING important. Bannon's perspective on a lot of these 'security issues' could actually be extremely valuable - something that has the livernazis in a hemorrhagic hissy fit.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good ...
