Check your anti-virus program for its settings - it may be blocking the site.
After you download Firefox, check your firewall for Firefox as being allowed through. Firefox quit working for me a couple of years ago, and recently I found out why. At sometime in the past, a Windows Defender auto-upgrade had changed the default for Firefox to 'not allowed'. Just a coinkident, no ?
Microsoft has gotten pretty nasty - using what is considered a 'hack' to trick people into installing Windows 10 - by changing the 'dismiss button' to actually installing. Pissssed off a whole lot of people. They ALMOST got me with it, but I caught it in time to abort the upgrade.
