You just don't have a bunch of highly [over]paid liberals getting together and saying, "Hey, let's all quit our jobs! THAT will show those nasty Republicans!" It especially wouldn't happen during the start of an opposition party's term when these people know they won't be offered such lucrative positions again for four, eight, TWELVE years. Or maybe EVER.
