I don't doubt that at all. State has been a hiding and breeding ground for hardcore lefists and wishy-washy statists for DECADES. If I was taking over State, I would want to flush all of those snakes out of the grass, too ... and getting rid of the big snakes at the top would be my first order of business.

When the story broke, I immediately suspected that the team was given the option of resigning or being fired. I still think that's what probably happened.
