...reminds me of a story! (don't everything???)
A friend of mine had a job handling complaints the public made about the phone company. A call came in from an elderly woman complaining about the language that some telephone men who were working on a telephone cable in front of her house. Lou (my friend) drove out there and spoke to the foreman and asked him to have his men keep it down. Then he went up to the ladies house and apologized to her and told her that he had spoken to the mens supervisor and that he had promised they would keep it down and that they would be gone in a few days.
"These are tough hard men who work in the heat and the cold in the rain the snow the sleet and all hours of the day and night and they are the kind of men who call a spade a spade!"
"...naw they don't" says the lady. "They call it a Fukin shovel".
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
