No, De ... "reasonably priced" means just that ... if you are demonstrably high risk (i.e., your supposed chronic disease), then the premium should be set at a reasonable (in this case, high) price that reflects the longer odds the insurance company is taking with you. "Reasonably priced" is not a one-way street.

Excellent. I'll wait until I have some chronic disease that's going to cost an arm and a leg to treat . . . and THEN I'll choose to purchase insurance at a reasonable price. I recommend everyone else do the same.

People forget: Insurance is a form of gambling. You bet you'll get a disease while the bookie bets you will not. Insurance where you already know you've got the disease doesn't work.
