Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

If I said that Trump was attacking landlords and was going to force rent control on the nation, would you still be saying it was great? I suspect not. I hope not.

Price controls are a SOCIALIST concept.

Trump shouldn't be attacking "Big Pharma." He should be attacking the health insurance industry, the hospitals themselves, Big Pharma AND the government, all of whom conspired to create a system which can charge exorbitant fees for every medical product and service, and have it be paid, no questions asked. The problem is in a LOT of places, not just the drug makers.

If I cut my finger, have a sore throat, get pink-eye or any of a hundred of the other most common and easily diagnosed ailments, I shouldn't have to see a doctor. The medic or nurse up the street should be allowed to see me, make a diagnosis, stitch me up, send me to a lab if it's called for, and issue limited prescriptions... for less than $100 a visit. Eliminating the need to go to a doctor for every problem, howsoever simple, would dramatically reduce consumer costs. It SHOULD, anyway.
