De,

Not everyone will think this is good for their son at college ... or want the added expense, but both of my sons were in fraternities, and let me tell ya ... the vast majority of their fraternity brothers were hardcore Conservatives. Both of my boys scoffed at the liberal BS on campus and they are still unabashed Conservatives, today.

I know leftist groupthink is on every campus across the nation, but some institutions of willful ignorance are far, far worse than others. If your niece went to law school at NYU, then she more than likely did not stand a snowball's chance in hell against the religious onslaught of the leftist zealots, there.

I told my sons to question everything while in college ... 'cuz there is very little, if anything, on campus that is akin to the real world.

Beldin:

re: "Many liberal universities are run "by pussies, for pussies."

Be fair. ALL the universities are run "by pussies." Those of us who want our kids to get a college education don't have much choice but to send them to one.

I *will* grant this: They're brainwashing our kids. Not just the universities, but the public school system too. It's a daily struggle to keep my son thinking for himself, and I'm not going to place bets on who he will be after he's exposed to the colleges for four or more years.

My sister tells me that my niece (her daughter) was extremely conservative before she headed off to NYU. Now in law school, she's a big-time liberal.

It's sad. I pray my son has a stronger mind than that and can see through the hypocrisy.
