re: "...free money is also worthless money."

Money has whatever value people assign it. I don't like unbacked money because that value is inclined to fall as those in charge give in to the temptation to print more of it. But that's a different topic.

The premise behind "free money" is sound enough. When robots are responsible for most of the production, jobs will vanish and governments will tax corporations heavily, handing the proceeds to the people.

I hate the thought of this, but if jobs are IMPOSSIBLE for humans to find, there aren't many options. I guess people could just starve. That's an option. But in countries where humans can vote and robots can't, I don't think that will happen. Maybe in places where tyrants are in charge....

Except for the corporation owners, we're ALL going to be welfare bit**es. If you see it differently, please chime in.

This is still another reason to buy farmable land, btw. Landowners will effectively be corporation owners.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

...free money is also worthless money. Not that ours isn't getting that way.
