16th President of the U.S. who watched as a myriad of southern states decided to form their own country and not be Americans. How can you claim to be an American when you seceded fro AMERICA and form your country because you want the right to own your own SLAVES? Those states wanted to be slave owning southerners.

That is an absurd statement.
Reality is that every single President including Jefferson KNEW that SLAVERY was wrong and NONE of them prior to Lincoln did anything to stop it except kick the can down the road for the next guy to take the fall.
So, if you are going to BLAME Lincoln for the deaths of SOLDIERS who fought and died in battle, then you also by that belief are in agreement that slavery was perfectly fine and the way to end a national disagreement is to seceded from a country, break it up into US and THEM.
WHAT is the difference between if you don't get your own way back in the years prior to 1865 (end of the war) and are unwilling to compromise or change something that is so despicable that you decide to simply break apart a nation, and what we are seeing with the democrats and liberals today?????
Their person did not win. We are going to try to obstruct this new Presidency and create problems for all the rest of this nation. We don;t like what happened or the policies of this new President...

No, OBAMA did not kill 700,000. Let's see if we can add up all the lives lost both civilly and overseas meddling in places we ought not be and costing the lives of thousands upon thousands of brave soldiers who OBAMA could care less about. Heck, their families, children and wives did not need DADDY at home anyway, right?
You may not agree with President Lincoln, and at that time period, it was a 50/50 proposition. BUT WHEN was this abhorrent SOUTHERN practice of SLAVERY going to end???? Seems like AFTER it was over only then did people and STATES begin to realize that "yeah, this needed to end and BTW, Lincoln was right".

Diplomacy failed. The south's answer was to take their baseball bat and split a nation into TWO SEPARATE nations or countries because they did not like the policies..... Hmmmmmmmmm. Has a familiar ring to it today does it not???
Okay I am done. Last question. IS the country, including the South, better off without that institution of slavery?? Has it not become cneters of commerce without slavery? Has it not become a better moral compass? Has it not admitted that slavery was wrong?
