re: "If you lived closer I might do it for ya for the cost of parts plus $150.00 labor."

Oh, you're making me laugh!

I guess I should be embarrassed. I'm not doing a very good job of getting off the grid if I can't even get away from having someone replace my radiator, eh??? LOL.

As I said earlier, there are two jobs I really hate: Plumbing and engine repair. I don't think you'll see me complaining about anything else.

BTW, one drawback to living out here is that you get numb to how expensive it is. EVERYONE in Northern VA makes beaucoup bucks. Consequently, everything is expensive. The cheapest haircut I can find is $14. When I flew back to Sacramento, I got one for $6. Gas is typically 25 cents more per gallon than it is just 30 miles away. Home rent starts at $1,800/mo. If I go out for lunch, I'm spending $15 minimum. People who took down one of my back yard pine trees charged $600 and DIDN'T haul it off.

You get numb to it, but I can't wait to move away and return to a sane life.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

NO WAY!!!!!!

Go buy yourself a radiator and some new hoses and new clamps. Get you some new GREEN antifreeze.

CHange that yourself for about one fourth the cost.

WHY pay him all that labor?

The radiator is NOT that HARD to change out, seriously.... If you lived closer I might do it for ya for the cost of parts plus $150.00 labor.

YOU however can do it for the price of the parts which is under $175.00

COme on De! Time to get your hands dirty....
