I heard most of a story on the radio (so don't quote me. I didn't hear it all.) that Obama has applied for membership at a golf course near where his new DC home will be. It's exclusive and membership runs $80,000 plus $8,000 annually. They were going to waive the fees for him, though. Nice! Then they came back and said "Nothin' doing. Because of your treatment of Jews."

The radio host said he was happy about that - not because he's conservative, but because Obama's commute to the course would play hell with the host's own commute to-and-from work. Smart man. I bet that if Obama goes ahead and buys membership anyway, he and his Secret Service motorcade will be making that trip four or five times a week from now on.
