I believe he's going in one day for valve replacement and coming home the next. They aren't cracking his chest, I hope, so it's actually considered minimally invasive.
The topic DOES interest me. 'good chance I'm going to have to have it done myself one day. I don't have his problem with obesity and diabetes, but I do have a congenital defect that's gradually worsening. Given that the farm life isn't reported to be easy, maybe I'll just get lucky and fall over dead one day instead.
