Mexico hasn't been pushed as hard as Venezuela - but there's still no revolution there. That tells me that revolution is a hard thing to predict. It comes down to the psychology of the people. Some won't put up with any crap. Others will walk with you to the slaughterhouse and thank you for holding the door.
My heart says that there won't be a civil war in America during my life, even as my brain says that civil war and tyranny are the only likely possibilities. What happens in Mexico will be revealing.
