I won't argue with Stanislav's general premise - that the West is most certainly sinful. However, he needs to open his nationalistic eyes a bit more ... the East, the North, the South, and everywhere to the four corners of the world are certainly sinful, as well. We all fall far short of The Glory of God and the faithful ... those who, while still abject sinners, continue to persist in their desire for and belief in the redeeming grace of The Lord Jesus Christ ... will NOT be known by their nationality. They are a diaspora among and within most nations all over the globe.
One should always be very careful, indeed, when trying to lay claim to any perception of exclusive rights to God's favor for one's nation over that of other nations. If your perception happens to be somewhat myopic, the consequences, as you well know, could be disastrously epic. In 1944 & 1945, I'm sure there were plenty in the Wehrmacht who were fervently praying for, hoping for, and counting on Divine intervention against the "Communist heathen" from the Soviet Union.

The essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer. It has never yet melted. ~ D.H. Lawrence
