Never go to geek squad. Find a small computer repair shop run by a single person who knows his stuff.
That should take care of it.
I had a board called the PC ADVICE board.
Myself and several others who were pretty efficient at trouble shooting problems helped people with their computer problems as best we could and vast majority of time could get someone's problem resolved.
Now that was prior to windows 8. Hardware issues don;t really change. And a lot of times the problems are hardware related.
But it sometimes can be figured out by a group of people who have experience in building computers or IT guys who just love this kind of thing.
A small computer repair business is who I would go to if I could not resolve the problem myself.... Never go to Worst Buy....
Here in Cincinnati there is a company called Fuller Computer Solutions. An independent excellent computer company. There are a couple more as well. See if something like these exist somewhere near you.....
