micro, I got along with most of them. I
was in junior high when we moved there.
Mom ran a dime store and I worked there
after school. The Navajos pretty much
kept to themselves. I got along with
most of the whites and Hispanics. To
me, everybody was 'normal'. Mom had an
Hispanic lady who worked for her who
would get excited about something and
only speak Spanish. Mom would have to
tell her to relax and speak English. It
was a whole different world but I liked
it. BTW, most of the Hispanics looked
down on white people.

That is both tragic and heartbreaking at the same time.

I cannot imagine having a child and only seeing them once.

How were the kids you went to school with? Did you play with them? Were they nice ?

My great grandmother is 100 percent Seneca Indian.
