That was a really nice thing you and your friend did for that older lady. I am sure she enjoyed herself as well and appreciated the seafood as much as you did.
You have the same problem I do. When you are not accustomed to eating certain types of foods or their sauces they are often served with, it tends to blow through your system in a hurry.
For that very reason when we travel, I always try to eat like normal and not go crazy.
I commend you on being so kind to this lady. The world needs more of that.....
