Us too! It wasn't supposed to snow, but it did - only an inch, but enough that the school district cancelled all Saturday activities. That's frustrating for my son who is two weeks away from a big show and is therefore missing a badly needed rehearsal.
This evening, he'll be helping a friend with her vocal recital. She graduated last year and asked him to be her accompanist. In addition to vocal solos, she's doing a choir piece where my son and others will be singing as well. We're all looking forward to it, so hopefully THAT doesn't get killed. Jeez... a little snow and everyone acts like it's the end of the world. Tonight's event takes place at a church, so the school district's decision doesn't apply.
