I've read - perhaps on this board - that Obonzo was given the prize on the basis of what he was promising to do to America's nuclear stockpiles. And, true to his word, Obama has greatly reduced our nuclear strength . . . and weakened the nation in countless other ways even as the world's many totalitarian states grew their militaries. The Nobel committee should be pleased.

Yesterday, I heard that for the first time since World War II, the United States has no aircraft carriers deployed anywhere in the world. They are ALL in port undergoing repairs. That's fascinating, I think, particularly in light of your December 25th post stating that the U.S. has *TEN* nuclear aircraft carriers. Fat lot of good they're doing.

Apparently the carrier George Bush isn't ready to go to sea for another few months, and the others have even bigger issues. President Trump has his hands full, that's for sure.
