Clemson is for real.
Ohio State is NOT.
BAMA is for real.
CLemson shut out the Buckeyes by playing the greatest defense I have seen in decades. They are for real and extremely talented.
I see no reason why they could not defeat Alabama for the title. AS much as I enjoy the Bucks, I also am a realist. They got outplayed, out manned, and just beaten to a pulp by a superior team and superior athletes. HATS off to Dabo Swinney and the entire team of Clemson for one stellar performance last night.
I am rooting for Clemson in the title game. Time to bring down BAMA.
Oh, one last thing.
The BIG TEN was over rated this year. They are maybe the third best conference in football. ACC and SEC still ahead of them.
From my view, that is how I see it.
My new Year's wish???
That Luke Fickel will bring Cincinnati football back to a higher level and be competitive with big football programs. May not happen this year, but maybe next.
Also for the Bearcat Basketball team to continue to get better this season and be a force to be reckoned with. The freshmen and sophs are looking very good and growing each game.
We could have a very good season. Time will tell.
Enjoyed the time in Virginia, especially at the Wyndham resort in Williamsburg. LOTS to do and had fun playing with my teen grandchildren there.
Good to be home. Nothing like your own bed. Just wish my baby girl doggie was still here to greet us at the door and want to be petted and hugged. Miss her a lot.....
