I would go with the goat as it can also keep ya company in the hedroom on a cold winter night.

The problem is called WINTER. In cold weather, oil thickens and doesn't do its job.

Bring your lawnmower indoors for 12 hours or so, then take it outdoors and give it a whirl. If it starts then the problem is with the viscosity. Change out the oil for SAE 10W-30 or just give up on using the mower until Spring.

You could always get an electric mower. Or a goat.
