HOPE everyone is having a good day after Christmas!
My wife and I are preparing to go to Virginia Beach early tomorrow morning with my oldest daughter and family. Should be fun being with all the kids and grandkids for the rest of the week... Need to get away and get mind off of things like my father's house and caregiving. Meanwhile, funeral arrangements are being made for my niece. Wife's sister is coping and not a basket case, and I believe she is actually somewhat happy for her daughter who has fought this dreaded disease since she was 13 years old and had 90 percent of her stomach removed then. It has been a fight ever since. She was 45 and leaves three children behind, the youngest is 18 and graduated high school this past summer. She is staying with her grandmother.
I am packing suitcase and clothing for the next five days and awaiting the arrival of my daughter and family for dinner.
We had a blessed Christmas day and were reminded how very much loved we as people are by the Birth of the Son of God so many years ago... He left HIS THRONE in Heaven to come down here, become a man, and to become a SACRIFICE for ALL of our sins so that we can be redeemed to GOD By Him and Through HIM. It is ALL of HIM and NONE of us which makes us acceptable in the very sight of God the Father.
How much did HE love us, His Creation, in order to go through WHAT HE DID for and on our behalf on that Roman cross which we celebrate at Easter time?
NEWS FLASH for the LGBT crowd. HE CAME FOR ALL SINNERS (that would be all of us) and HE LOVES THEM and shed HIS BLOOD for the remission of their sins as well as mine and yours and everyone's.
He came for us ALL. He is not willing that ANY should perish but that ALL would come to repentance.
SO I leave you with these thoughts. I will return home Saturday late evening.

Play nicely and have a wonderful week yourselves. I am going to see my grandson who is 3 months old now and my other one who will be six next month. Riding down there with my 13 year old and 12 year old grandkids and parents....
