INFLATION FROM NOV 2008 to NOV 2016 has been an average of approx. 9.0% - much as I had previously (and privately) calculated.

Graphical Calculation - use $100 in 2008 and calc for same month in 2016. Graph is almost EXACTLY (one pixel diff) double. Rule of 72 : doubling period == 8 years, interest (inflation) ==72/8 = 9.0

WHAT is the ONLY cause of INFLATION ? It is NOT 'pressure' from higher wages and/or prices, as Richard Hussein Nixon preached .... IT IS THE ADDITION OF MONEY (read GOVERNMENT DEBT whether they call it monetized or not) into the MARKET by the CENTRAL BANK (aka the FEDERAL RESERVE - a cabal of powerful internation banks that is LOOSELY controlled by the US Gov. ).
