what is so hysterically funny about people who make these outrageous claims is they are utterly ignorant of what the Lord Jesus actually said about this very thing.
They forget Matthew 24: 36 "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. "
and
Mark 13:32 "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. "
Even more amusing is the fact that they think CHRIST is coming back to DESTROY.

WHEN HE APPEARS in the CLOUDS and the Trump of God is heard, the dad in Christ shall rise and then WE (believers) which are alive and remain shall be caught up together to meet HIM in the AIR, and so shall we ever be with the Lord..
Now, to be clear, THIS event often referred to as The Rapture, of which CHRIST spoke often about (see parable of the Ten virgins), is the BEGINNING of SORROWS, also called the Tribulation.
There will be NO ONE on earth after that event who has trusted Christ as their Savior. Only NON-believers.
BUT, the first three and a half years will be relatively peaceful BUT the heathen will select a one world ruler for government.
The NEXT three and a half years will be pure horror as the Righteous Indignation and Judgment of GOD, in his fury, FALLS upon earth and all the inhabitants. People will die in large percentages at a time.
Earth will experience extreme volvanic eruptions, meteorite crashes, fresh water supply being turned into BLOOD as well as the oceans and the stench of rotting and decaying fish and animals and people will fill the air.
Before EACH of these various judgments, an ANGELIC BEING will fly through the heavens (atmosphere)and announce it is coming. Also they will give a message to repent and turn to GOD.
The reason for the Judgments. ALL these people left have REJECTED the Son of God and GOD's JUDGMENT for their sin is being executed upon the earth and upon all unbelievers. YET even during each one of the cataclysmic events, GOD still in mercy reaches out and asks people to repent and Trust in HIS only Begotten Son. He is the GOD of second, third and fourth chances.....
Finally, at the end of the second 3.5 year period, the armies of the earth will converge upon Israel in the Valley of Meggido, (Armageddon), and the Lord Jesus HIMSELF will come with all HIS SAINTS and with ONE WORD destroy every last enemy in that valley.
The BLOOD from that one Word of HIS will be as high as the bridle on a HORSE....
AFTER THIS, HE will set up HIS THRONE hereon earth and there will be one thousand years of PEACE under HIS RULE. The Earth will be changed and the saints of God will rule and reign with HIM.
YES, there will be a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH ("behold, I make all things new)"). BUT GOD is NOT going to totally destroy the earth. He is going to PURGE the earth of ALL SIN.
JESUS did not just dies for the sins of men and sin does not only affect MANKIND. IT affected ALL LIVING things, and the earth as well GROANS under the weight of sin. THIS SHALL ALL BE cleansed and made new by the atoning BLOOD SACRIFICE of the SON of GOD when HE redeems this world BACK unto HIMSELF.....
Ignorance of the Bible is no excuse. al lone need do is look around and observe the wonders before them and they KNOW that GOD created what their eyes are permitting them to see.
I really hate it when some crackpot thinks they are going to outsmart almighty God..... This is just another example and yes, this person will also stand before HIS THRONE in judgment and anser to HIM for their ARROGANCE and their sin right before HE has them cast into the Lake of Fire forever.....
