that was a true *** kicking......
Florida is not in the same category as the Alabama gang.
Most teams are not.
To play tough against Bama you have to have two things. Without either one, you are doomed to be the next trophy on their wall:
1. A HUGE and TALENTED Offensive Line. athletic
2. 8 players who are BIG, MEAN, AThletic who take turns on the DEFENSIVE LINE.
This is how Alabama wears down and eventually just imposes their will against the teams they face.
It actually is a good system. Their offensive skill players are not that great. Jalen Hurts is far over rated. Without the O line domineering the opponents D line and keeong him safe when passing or creating holes big enough to drive TWO eighteen wheelers through, he is just an average QB.
I wouldn't feel badly for the Gators.
IN MY OPINION, and it is just my opinion, WASHINGTON poses a THREAT to BAMA. They are BIG, mobile, play great defense, and have an awesome offense inspired by their head coach, who was the genius behind the unstoppable Boise State teams of the past.... And he only had average players. ow he has BIG LEAGUE athletes which makes them very dangerous.....
I am not very confident the Buckeyes match up well with Alabama this year. TOO YOUNG and not enough experience. Next year will be different.
I think Ohio State would give them a strong test. I do not see a blowout. I think Bama beats them by at least 14 points though....
Clemson will get another BUTT whippin against BAMA.
BUT, this is what the playoffs are for. On ANY given day one team may be having an off day and another may just have all the pieces fall into place. BAMA has been very consistent all year long. I pick them to easily win the national championship.
