My condolences, micro. I truly understand your hurt. Four years ago, I had to put down our 12-year-old German Shepherd/Border Collie mix because of cancer that just would not go away. Pepper was a beautiful, athletic thoroughbred of a dog, even though he was a mutt, and he was a great friend. It is hard to let go of such a friend.

My wife with me grudgingly agreeing, have to make that awful decision to have our beloved MAGGIE who is 13 years and 8 months old, put down.....

She has been the best , sweetest, loving little girl ever. She simply has lost the ability to control her urinating. There is nothing the vet can do and mrs. micro does not want to keep cleaning up the carpets, couches, etc. after maggie every day.

She always is the first to greet me every day and first to greet me when I come home. TAil wagging wildly because she is excited I am home.... Your DOG ALWAYS likes you...... There is really nothing else wrong with her. She has lived in our home all this time and we cannot put her outside in this winter up here.

So we have to have her put to sleep. Killing me....

That is a painful decision to come to and even more painful to enact. She is probably closer to me than my own children..

Hope you don;t have to experience this. It is heart wrenching.....

micro....
