THIS IS FACT. It is what you are up against when you passively adopt the thinking of your peers and listen to modern advertising. With the modern findings of neuroscience, mind control/ influence have become even more difficult to resist. This is why I block ads and try to consistently go back to first principles and, in particular, actively try to falsify arguments and ask "cui bono" on memes promoted by government, media and the mass of society. What does our government, the media, and - especially - the billionaire "oligarchs" WANT us to do and think? Follow the money and actively question anything which "everyone" knows; everything which is politically correct.
