...yep that's a fact and I already got enough of my own rubbish. I want all my incoming information to be gleaned from only wholesome nutritious sources then cleaned of stems and seeds before I put it in my brain.

I think you don't understand or appreciate alternative news sites. The fact is, the mainstream news sites are picking and choosing the news they wish to report and the slant they wish to apply. IF YOU WANT THE TRUTH or even unbiased opinions, your only hope when the mainstream is in deception-mode is to read alternative news.
Yes, there's a lot of rubbish mixed in. That's what comes of it being unregulated. But topics that the mainstream doesn't want you to consider will likely be covered as well, and you'll at least have some hope.
We're in big trouble if our government succeeds in getting such sites shut down. While some are clearly hoax sites, many are not. They're just out of favor with the thugs in charge.
